Building Description
The four story elevated “L” shaped brick building and site have been specifically designed to accommodate the needs of senior citizens.

On the first floor is a two-story community room with kitchen, an arts and crafts room, a mail room, and management offices. In addition to a library on the second floor there are meeting rooms, a lounge, and a balcony which overlooks the community room.

Interior seating areas and exterior balconies are on each floor which overlook the grounds. The central laundry, a lounge, and restrooms are located on the lower level.

The carpeted hallways have handrails to ensure maximum safety. Smoke alarms, CO2 detectors and sprinklers are installed throughout the building. Grab-bars in the bath­room and wheelchair width doorways are among the senior oriented features.
